Tests can be done through real-world or hardware simulated connections. Through simulation, we are able to replicate a broad array of possible connections, from dial-up to GigE, with any number of other variables included (as listed above).
With our resources, we are able to perform acceptance testing for minimum bandwidth requirements. We can drill down to the slowest of connection types (both upstream and downstream) to test your product on what speeds are necessary to play your game. Additionally, we have various data capture points that can provide you the information you need to solve issues, such as heavy packet transactions that can hinder performance.
Additionally, in depth reports of direct packet analysis are available for review for each of these conditions.
Our testing includes interaction analysis with various settings, such as NAT, encryption, and firewalls, on various router manufacturers. Because of the common use of routers in the home, this is an essential part of any product's compatibility cycle.
